AN ACT OF LOVE

Whether due to a change in their human's world or a situation they can't adapt to, surrendering to a reputable rescue can be a fresh start for everyone.

MAKING THEIR WELL BEING A PRIORITY.

Before you complete the form...

If you want to keep your dog, but are struggling with a situation you are unsure how to resolve, please email us at surrender@zoeshouserescue.com so we can help assess the situation. We would be happy to speak with you on training, behavior tips, or point you in the direction of the right trainer/behaviorist that can assist you.

If keeping the dog is simply not an option, we do take in dogs from owners within our local community.  We understand that there might be situations beyond control that make it impossible to keep a beloved pet.  We want to help and do not want your dog to end up in a high-volume shelter, or into the hands of an irresponsible home.  We will do everything that we can to help.

We will not take dogs with severe aggression issues into our organization.  There are no exceptions to this policy.

STEP #1

Email us a copy of the vet records you have, if possible.  ï»¿We ask that your dog is current on vaccines and altered or that you make a donation to put towards the vetting costs for us.  While this is not a requirement, it is greatly appreciated since we rely solely on donations and adoption fees.

The best email to use is: surrender@zoeshouserescue.com

STEP #2

Complete the Surrender Form and one of our Surrender Team volunteers will be in touch within 72 hours.

STEP #3

Please be patient while we process your information and determine how we can best assist you and your dog in the most efficient manner.
